About the Event
Located just across the Clyde, the Cowal Peninsula is a beautiful area of at least seven lochs and many glens, plus forestry and an unspoilt coastline. This makes the title of the exhibition so appropriate.
Rich in ancient history it is now also the home to many artists, inspired by these surroundings. Members of the Cowal Open Studios come together for a weekend in September and open their doors to visitors and locals alike. They also engage with the local community with several members offering workshops and also working with the local schools.
This year the Cowal Open Studio weekend is Fri 24 – Mon 27 Septembe, 2021.
