Head for the beautiful little village of Tayvallich north west of Lochgilphead, Argyll. From the Village Hall car park, follow the signs for Taynish National Nature Reserve. Once you reach the Reserve Car Park, Taynish Mill is signposted. Approximate walking distance ¼ mile. The pathway to the Mill is all access.
This beautiful area of ancient Sessile Oak Woodland will host a selection of sculptural works created by nine Scottish artists to celebrate the theme of story-telling. You can view the works whilst strolling around this tranquil woodland, enjoy a picnic or sit by the shore of Loch Sween to contemplate the scenery. On Thursday 19 May, from 6pm onwards, you are welcome to join Story-telling guest speaker, Iain Campbell Waugh at the opening evening of the Trail.
